ARTiVIS – Arts, Real-Time Video and Interactivity for Sustainability – is a research project exploring how video streaming can be used as a powerful tool for environmental awareness and activism.
With the DiY Forest Surveillance Kit, participants will explore creative applications for real time video streaming through the use of low cost autonomous video streaming nodes assembled out of a Raspberry Pi single board computer, common off the shelf hardware components and open source software.
